What is radiofrequency microneedling?

Radiofrequency microneedling combines microneedling and radiofrequency energy. Fine needles deliver heat at different skin depths and thereby stimulate the formation of collagen and elastin.

When does radiofrequency microneedling make sense?

The treatment is ideal for an uneven skin texture, signs of skin ageing, slack or structurally weakened skin, scars and sensitive skin.

What does radiofrequency microneedling in Hamburg involve?

After the consultation, medical history and information, we disinfect the area, perform the needling with radiofrequency energy and finally apply a regenerating skincare product.

Does the treatment hurt?

The treatment is not a spa treatment, but many people tolerate it well. Pain perception is individual and is often described as partly uncomfortable but not unbearable.

How long is the downtime?

Redness and swelling can occur for 2 to 3 days. How socially presentable you are straight afterwards is individual.

When will I see the result?

Results are visible after 2 to 3 months.

How long do the results last?

Durability depends on your metabolism and lifestyle. As a rule, you can expect 1 to 2 years.

How often does the treatment need to be repeated?

As a rule, we recommend a series of three treatments. With the Morpheus8 in Hamburg, the interval is usually 6 to 8 weeks. Several sessions make sense especially for scars.

What do I need to know before the treatment?

Avoid alcohol for 12 hours before the treatment and come without make-up, especially without mascara.

What do I need to know after the treatment?

Use SPF 50 daily for 4 weeks and a barrier-stabilising cream several times a day. Avoid sweaty exercise, saunas, baths, alcohol and make-up for 24 hours and facials, intensive peelings and sunbathing for 48 hours. If you were given the erythromycin mixture, apply it twice a day for 1 week in addition.
