An open, fresh look by correcting the upper eyelid: The upper eyelid lift removes excess skin and ensures a more awake, natural appearance.
Exclusive in Düsseldorf
At Kalia Lab, we use the upper eyelid lift specifically to correcr drooping eyelids which are often caused by sagging elastic skin fibers and bulging fat pads. During the operation, excess skin and sagging tissue is gently removed. The outpatient procedure is performed under local anesthesia and usually takes less than an hour. In order to make the scars as invisible as possible, the incisions are made in the natural folds of the eyelid.
The removal of excess skin makes the eyes appear more awake and fresh - the eyes look more natural and radiant.
The entire eye area appears more open and gives the face more expressiveness.
The precise incision in the eyelid crease creates an inconspicuous, permanently beautiful result.
By removing excess skin, the eyes look more open and youthful.
The result of the upper eyelid lift is usually long-lasting.
The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia and takes less than an hour.
In order to avoid visible scars, the skin incisions in the upper eyelid lift are specifically placed in the natural eyelid folds. Normally they heal very inconspicuously and are hardly or no longer visible after complete healing.
Possible risks and side effects include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness and scarring.
The time of year is generally not decisive for an upper eyelid lift. Since the eye area should be protected from direct sunlight in the first few months, autumn and winter are particularly suitable for the procedure.
